Christian faith is not just about seeking personal salvation or happiness, it is about reaching out in love, being Christ's heart and hands in the world. Here are Coos Bay UMC we are continuing to grow in faith as we reach out to our community and the world. We are active in gathering food for the area Ecumenical Food Cupboard. We are continuing a program providing weekend food packs for hungry children at Blossom Gulch Elementary. We have an active Relay for Life team that raises money for cancer research. And we are proud to be growing a new hunger ministry: a monthly fellowship meal providing food for the hungry in our area. In addition to these ongoing efforts, there are countless of other ways this church is reaching out to the community and world.
