Music is one of the things that we most prize here at Coos Bay UMC, and we enjoy worshiping with our instruments and voices.

We have a Praise Team that gets each service started with singing. They practice every Wednesday at 6:30 PM.

The Chancel Choir, led by Jane Henrickson, offers up a lovely anthem each week and prepares a larger Christmas Cantata each year for Christmas Eve services. It is open to anyone who likes to sing and serve God through music. Rehearsals are every Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

Of course, our music program depends heavily on our wonderful organist Ida Jo Gates, pianist Gayle Gaer, and keyboardists Maryon Brooks and David Williams.
